Job description
Specialty Hose Xpress is a hose distributor and fabricator serving Central California. We assemble a wide variety of assortment of consumer commercial products. Supplying customers throughout the San Joaquin Valley and greater Bay Area. Specialty Hose Xpress is a growing company in high demand. We are looking to fill an outside sales position. Outside Sales Rep must have experience and knowledge of the inner workings of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Agriculture businesses.
Qualifications:
4+ years’ experience in customer service and outside sales.
3+ Years in Industrial Sales and Product Knowledge.
2+ Years of Purchasing
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to multitask
Job Duties:
· Specialty Hose Xpress takes pride in customer service. Customer service is always first.
· Spend time out in the field and on site with customers.
· Drive growth and understand the market of demand.
· Ensure customer relationships and able to generate new customers while keeping current.
· Time Management, and dedication.
Able to travel to customers businesses and deliver.

Outside Sales Rep - Fluid Power Technician

Job Location: Hilmar, Gilroy, Kerman, Lodi


Fluid Power Technician-
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative specializing in fluid power systems to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fluid power technology, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in outside sales. You will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing clients, identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
Identify and engage potential clients in various industries that utilize fluid power systems.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals.

Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers to understand their fluid power needs.
Conduct regular follow-ups and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Sales Presentations & Proposals:
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the benefits of our fluid power products and services.
Create tailored proposals based on customer requirements and project specifications.

Market Research & Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer insights and market dynamics.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with the technical team and fluid power technicians to ensure accurate technical support and product knowledge.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeting fluid power solutions.

Sales Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in CRM software.
Report on sales targets and performance metrics regularly to management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in fluid power or industrial sales.
Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their applications in different industries.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working directly with customers in a technical sales capacity.
Established network within the fluid power industry is a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend trade shows.
